Auto-moderation (toxicity & spam)
Vuukle scores every incoming comment against two ML classifiers:
- Toxicity — insults, slurs, harassment.
- Spam — promotional content, link spam, repeated text.
Each score runs from 0 (definitely fine) to 100 (definitely bad). You set the cut-off at which a comment is sent to the queue or rejected outright.
Configure the thresholds
Open the Vuukle dashboard → pick your site → Site Settings → Comment Widget → Moderation thresholds. Two sliders:
| Setting | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Toxicity limit (0–100) | Comments scoring above this number are auto-moderated. Lower = stricter. 100 disables. |
| Spam limit (0–100) | Same scale, for the spam classifier. |
What happens when a comment exceeds the threshold
By default, comments above the threshold are:
- Marked Pending and added to your queue (visible only to moderators).
- The author sees a “Your comment is being reviewed” notice.
If you want them auto-rejected (no queue entry) instead, set Site Settings → Comment Widget → Above threshold → Reject in the dashboard.
